GOVERNMENT, MODERN HISTORY AND POLITICAL SYSTEMS AP (Advanced Placement).
Grades 10-12. Recommended for Juniors/Seniors. Covers government theory and the general principles of different forms of government, especially the democratic-republic. It includes the structure of the American constitutional system, the Federalist Papers and de Tocqueville’s Democracy in America. No outside texts required. Student receives 2 credits: Government and English Literature. Normally offered on alternating years. (See Class Schedule)
History 105 class meets in two 1½ -hour sessions a week every other year alternating with American History.
This course is part of the God’s Tapestry Multi-Credit curriculum and the student receives 2 credits: Government AP (Advanced Placement); English Literature.
Because of the more difficult and abstract reading material this is recommended for upper-level students.
